Overview

iCub3 is a 125 cm research humanoid from IIT, built as the robot body in a full-immersion avatar system that lets an operator wearing VR and a motion suit walk, manipulate, speak, and emote through it. It is aimed at robotics researchers studying telexistence, whole-body control, and embodied AI. Notably, it remotely toured the 2022 Venice Biennale from a lab hundreds of kilometers away.
